Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Intern

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Work with the Tektronix Finance team on business challenges and high-impact FP&A projects.
• Analyze financial, operational, market, and competitor data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop data-driven recommendations for productivity, inventory management, working capital, and market share.
• Collaborate with Commercial Sales, Manufacturing, Product Development, Service, and other cross-functional teams.
• Present recommendations and project outcomes to Finance leadership and the CFO.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to structure ambiguous business questions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, and data cleansing.
• Ability to analyze data and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Availability for a full-time internship working 40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools, or data visualization.
• Consulting project or client-facing experience.
• Leadership experience through work, internships, student organizations, athletics, research, or extracurricular activities.
