About the Role
You will oversee regulatory and legal matters in Brazil, lead the VASP license application, and serve as Statutory Director before BACEN. You will work with local authorities and global teams on legal, compliance, and regulatory matters involving financial services and digital assets.
Requirements
- Licensed attorney in Brazil with OAB registration
- Law degree from a recognized institution
- Permanent residency in Brazil
- 7–10 years of experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles within financial services, fintech, or crypto
- Experience engaging with Brazilian regulators, ideally BACEN or a VASP or financial institution licensing process
- Understanding of Brazilian AML/KYC regulations, financial market laws, and digital-asset regulation
- Portuguese and English fluency
- Drafting and negotiation skills
