Director, Strategic Operations & Organizational Effectiveness (Biotechnology)

Location: Troy, New York, United States. Work model: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; onsite expectations apply. Travel: 10% to Ireland.

Salary: $172,200–$286,900 annually.

What you will do

• Lead annual and quarterly strategic planning, alignment processes, and enterprise objective setting.
• Establish operating rhythms, planning cycles, business reviews, and strategic forums.
• Define KPIs, performance indicators, scorecards, and capacity-based prioritization frameworks.
• Coordinate executive reviews and create strategy narratives, presentations, and communication materials.
• Translate external trends and performance data into strategic implications and organizational actions.
• Develop capability-building initiatives, knowledge management frameworks, playbooks, and insight repositories.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in strategy, enterprise operating model design, or organizational effectiveness.
• Experience designing enterprise planning and review rhythms, cross-functional alignment processes, and operating model frameworks.
• Ability to influence and facilitate across senior leadership; strong executive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, and translating performance insights into strategic action.
• Experience in a global, complex, matrixed organization is required.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or degree in Organizational Leadership.
• Experience in organizational capability building and change management.
• Manufacturing, operations, or life sciences industry experience.
