Salary: $140,400–$241,250 per year

What you will do

• Translate enterprise priorities and executive direction into operating plans, milestones, governance routines, and measurable outcomes.
• Lead or coordinate executive-sponsored transformation initiatives across functional teams without direct line authority.
• Diagnose execution, governance, accountability, process, and stakeholder-alignment barriers.
• Facilitate decision-making, resolve issues, track commitments, escalate risks, and maintain momentum across initiatives.
• Develop repeatable charters, dashboards, action registers, decision logs, and lessons-learned mechanisms.
• Support adoption and sustainability of new practices, tools, behaviors, and operating expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in strategic operations, enterprise transformation, business operations, program or portfolio management, consulting, organizational effectiveness, or strategy execution.
• At least five years leading cross-functional initiatives, enterprise projects, transformation efforts, or complex operating improvements involving senior stakeholders.
• Ability to lead without direct authority, structure ambiguity, facilitate decisions, and drive measurable outcomes in a matrixed organization.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, facilitation, presentation, judgment, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance; proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project, or a similar project management tool.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in a national laboratory, FFRDC, federal contractor, academic medical center, research institute, life sciences organization, or similarly complex mission-driven environment.
• Experience with Power BI, portfolio management, enterprise risk management, change management, Lean/Six Sigma, Agile/SAFe, or operating model design.
• Experience engaging C-suite executives, governance bodies, board-level committees, sponsors, customers, or parent-company leadership.
• PMP, PgMP, Prosci, CCMP, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification.
