Medical Science Liaison, Specialty Care Quebec Atlantic

Location: Quebec, Canada; territory covering Quebec. Travel required approximately 50% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain scientific knowledge for credible communication with external experts and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in and follow up on investigator-initiated studies, clinical studies, and medical projects.
• Provide scientific support and maintain relationships with external experts and academic centres.
• Deliver scientific presentations to healthcare professionals individually and in groups.
• Support the selection and engagement of healthcare professionals for research, advisory boards, congresses, and symposiums.
• Attend scientific meetings and prepare summaries of key data.

Requirements

• Advanced degree: doctorate, PharmD, or MD.
• Relevant business experience and solid knowledge of the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in customer-facing healthcare roles and in presenting or interpreting scientific and clinical research publications.
• Knowledge of scientific methods in clinical research and current legislative and regulatory controls.
• Advanced English proficiency or fluency in English is essential.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, comfort with technology, a valid driver's licence, and a passport.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison.
• Eye care or ophthalmology background.
