Software Engineer 3 - C++/Python/DevOps/Kubernetes/GPU

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience

What you will do

• Lead customer-facing development, deployment, and evolution of multifaceted mission-critical systems.
• Develop, deploy, and administer complex systems using C++ or Python, Kubernetes, and GPU technologies.
• Ensure the reliable operation of satellite communication systems from development through deployment.
• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters, including control planes, worker nodes, workloads, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and high availability.
• Automate operating-system deployment, infrastructure configuration, and lifecycle management with Ansible, PXE, GitOps, and build pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Twenty years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Experience with Kubernetes cluster design and lifecycle management, DevOps principles, Linux administration, networking, and system hardening.
• Experience with Python or C++, Bash, YAML/JSON, Git workflows, and software unit testing.
• Knowledge of RF data processing or RF application development and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Rancher, RKE2, Helm, CNCF tools, Go, and CKA certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes security, cluster storage integration, Ansible collections, playbook and role development, and advanced RHEL/Rocky/EL9 administration.
