Software Engineer 2 (Python/Kotlin/Java/Terraform/Elasticsearch/OpenSearch/AWS)

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, United States. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and hold a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on years of experience.

What you will do

• Assist with daily software engineering responsibilities.
• Develop solutions for programs and contracts with comparable scope, type, and complexity.
• Build and maintain software using Python, Kotlin, Java, Terraform, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and AWS.
• Contribute to timely delivery and continuous technical innovation.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.
• Fourteen years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of comparable software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Experience with Python, Kotlin, Java, Terraform, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and AWS.
• Direct hires only; third-party staffing and recruiting firms are not considered.
