Senior Director, Data Analytics - Workforce Planning (AI)

Location: Walmart Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $130,000–$260,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Advise senior People leaders and Centers of Excellence on workforce and business challenges.
• Own adoption and value realization for workforce intelligence and AI-enabled decision-support solutions.
• Build stakeholder confidence in analytics, AI, and workforce intelligence.
• Connect business stakeholders with Workforce Intelligence & Insights solution teams and align priorities.
• Define success measures for business outcomes, adoption, decision quality, and organizational impact.
• Embed workforce intelligence into workforce decisions and business workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in people analytics, human resources, management consulting, organizational effectiveness, change management, or a related field.
• 5+ years leading teams responsible for consulting, adoption, enablement, transformation, or business advisory outcomes.
• Experience advising and influencing executive stakeholders in large, complex organizations.
• Working knowledge of generative AI, including large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, agents, prompt engineering, and evaluation methodologies.
• Experience with workforce analytics and visualization platforms such as Visier, Workday, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, master's degree with relevant experience, or 8 years of experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or a related field; supervisory experience is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce, supply chain, or technology.
• Advanced degree in business, analytics, behavioral science, economics, organizational psychology, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau assessments and tools.
