U.S. Compliance Co-op (Financial Services)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance four days per week and remote work one day per week. Only Northeastern University students are eligible.

Salary: $19–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support compliance professionals, attorneys, analysts, and administrative staff on ongoing initiatives and short-term projects.
• Assist with client due diligence and material non-public information controls.
• Conduct compliance policy gap analyses and compliance risk assessments.
• Research regulatory requirements and regulatory rule changes.
• Support record retention and broker-dealer compliance activities.
• Collaborate with Global Relationship Management, Trading, Operations, Investment Administration, and other internal and external professionals.

Requirements

• Current Northeastern University student eligibility is required.
• Prior co-op experience is required.
• Strong academic credentials.
• High organizational, problem-solving, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a legal or financial services focus is preferred.
