Quality Program Development Manager (Healthcare)

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

• Develop and implement standards, policies, procedures, workflows, and decision-support systems for clinical and administrative operations.
• Design healthcare quality programs and integration efforts aligned with corporate, market, contractual, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Lead state-required Performance Improvement Projects, including topic selection, root cause analysis, implementation, and final submission.
• Act as a subject matter expert for managers and directors by creating work plans, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and monitoring project progress.
• Assess business needs, coordinate information for internal and external stakeholders, and support quality analytics and reporting.
• Provide consulting and analysis to clinical and operations teams to improve patient care quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management, nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of direct program development, program management, and/or project management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• At least 3 years of experience in managed care, utilization management, care coordination, disease management, Medicare, Medicaid, DSNP, dual eligibles, or PCMH.
• At least 2 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise quality programs such as STARS, CAHPS, and HEDIS.
• Experience defining eligible populations, coordinating quality initiatives across markets, conducting assessments and contractual reviews, and developing quality-improvement business plans.
• Remote work is associated with Missouri, United States.

• Master’s degree in business or healthcare management, including MBA, MHA, MPH, or MSN.
