Investment Research, Climate Change Co Op (Climate Research)

Location: Boston, MA, United States. Hybrid schedule with employees working from the office four days a week and remotely one day a week. Only Northeastern University students are eligible.

Salary: $19–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Support investors with climate integration covering physical climate change and energy-transition risks and opportunities.
• Research physical climate risks through company physical-risk exposure reviews.
• Conduct independent thematic research on climate impacts across financial markets.
• Gather data for company engagements and support analytical frameworks for understanding climate-related impacts.
• Attend and summarize climate research hubs, company engagements, sell-side presentations, and industry meetings.
• Collaborate with the Climate Research Team and Client Platform.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, research, and synthesis skills.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong academic track record.
• At least one previous co-op experience.
• Current Northeastern University student eligible for the program.

Nice to have

• Coursework or experience in environmental science.
• Coursework or experience in economics or finance.
