Location: Boston, MA, United States; employees work from the office 4 days a week with flexibility to work remotely 1 day a week.

Base salary: $19–$35 per hour

What you will do

• Analyze margin requirements and generate reporting for Portfolio Management, ensuring accurate collateral management and identifying exposure risks.
• Optimize cash across prime brokerage accounts to reduce financing costs, idle balances, and liquidity constraints.
• Build relationships with Wellington teams, prime broker risk and margin teams, securities lending desks, and other external providers.
• Design and develop custom reporting and analyses using Python, SQL, Tableau, Access, and Advanced Excel.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Client Service, Trading, Portfolio Management, Portfolio Services, Legal & Compliance, and Tax to understand fund servicing operations.

Requirements

• Current Northeastern University student progressing toward a degree in Finance, Economics, and/or Mathematics.
• Current GPA of 3.5 or above.
• Beginner to intermediate technology skills for analyzing and managing large datasets, including SQL, Tableau, Access, Python, or Advanced Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, communication skills, integrity, and a client service mindset.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities.
