Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (Occupational Health)

Location: Salem, Ohio, United States; onsite, 24 hours per week

Salary: $68,000–$90,000 per year for a 24-hour weekly schedule

What you will do

• Perform occupational health screenings, examinations, and appointments.
• Evaluate and treat workplace injuries, illnesses, exposures, musculoskeletal injuries, and minor wounds, including suturing and foreign-object removal.
• Interpret spirometry results and provide initial interpretations of resting EKGs.
• Conduct fitness-for-duty, fit-to-work, job applicant, and DOT examinations.
• Coordinate workers’ compensation case management, disability claims, return-to-work consultations, and workplace accommodations.
• Collaborate with client managers on workplace hazards, protective equipment, health and safety policies, prevention, and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Active nurse practitioner license and current ANCC or AANP board certification.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Independent practice provider status preferred where permitted by state regulations.
• Federal DEA number preferred and potentially required for full prescribing authority.
• Independent family practice experience with wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Salem, Ohio, for 24 hours per week.
