Junior System Administrator

Location: Newport, Rhode Island, United States; must be local to the work location. Flexible for occasional telework.

Salary: $51,091.74–$88,838.63 projected annual compensation range.

What you will do

• Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems in coordination with network engineers.
• Monitor and manage daily backups, restores, CPU usage, disk usage, and system response times.
• Perform systems security administration, including operating system and software updates and patches.
• Set up administrator accounts, maintain system documentation, tune performance, install system-wide software, and allocate storage.
• Interact with backup customers and develop solutions to routine technical problems under supervision.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 0–2 years of experience.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Ability to obtain a Secret-level security clearance.
• Must be local to the Newport, Rhode Island work location.
