Location: Sterling, Virginia, United States; requires local desktop support and up to 10% OCONUS travel for field support.

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 per year, based on qualifications, relevant experience, and expertise.

What you will do

• Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and tune Microsoft Server/Windows networks and related client systems.
• Administer servers, storage systems, computers, software infrastructure, and user accounts.
• Install system-wide software and upgrades and allocate storage space.
• Provide desktop support to local users and maintain equipment inventory.
• Address secure architectures, electronic data traffic, information security, and privacy requirements.
• Coordinate third-party maintenance for client equipment and provide field support as needed.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• At least five years of IT experience, including two or more years administering Microsoft Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting small to medium-sized networks.
• Solid understanding of information security practices and familiarity with Windows-based data storage.
• Experience creating and maintaining system, network, and security documentation and diagrams.
• Competency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
