Senior Security Automation Specialist (AI)

Location: San Jose, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $147,200–$269,800 annually, plus potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Design and develop solutions that strengthen security and compliance.
• Create AI agents, intelligent workflows, and security copilots to reduce manual work.
• Build internal security products, self-service portals, and autonomous response capabilities using LLMs.
• Translate business and security challenges into scalable technical solutions and reusable platforms.
• Drive adoption of efficient security capabilities across the organization.
• Partner with Security, Privacy, Compliance, Risk, IT, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Software Engineering, Product Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience coding, using APIs, performing technical integrations, and automating business or security processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Devin, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of security concepts and controls.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience developing AI agents or copilots and working with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or other LLM APIs.
• Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, React, TypeScript, Node, or modern web frameworks.
• Experience with workflow automation platforms or internal developer platforms.
• Background in security operations, compliance, or risk management.
