Senior Data Analyst

Location: Upstream Building AR Bentonville Home Office, Bentonville, Arkansas, United States

Salary: $80,000–$155,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and Data Science to shape product strategy through actionable insights.
• Define North Star metrics, KPIs, guardrails, and measurement frameworks linked to business outcomes.
• Analyze customer behavior, product friction, growth opportunities, funnels, cohorts, segmentation, retention, and forecasting.
• Design A/B tests and apply statistical and causal inference techniques to evaluate incremental product impact.
• Build scalable dashboards, automated monitoring, and product-health frameworks.
• Influence roadmap, prioritization, and investment decisions through data storytelling and metric governance.

Requirements

• Onsite role based in Bentonville, Arkansas, United States.
• At least 5 years of product analytics or related quantitative experience; minimum qualifications also allow relevant bachelor's, master's, or equivalent experience pathways.
• Advanced SQL and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in experimentation, statistical inference, causal analysis, funnels, cohorts, segmentation, retention, and measurement frameworks.
• Proficiency with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar tools, plus Python or R for statistical modeling and automation.
• Strong product judgment, executive communication, data storytelling, cross-functional influence, and analyst mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with data science, statistics, retail, merchandising, healthcare, or eCommerce.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau assessments and related business intelligence tools.
• Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative, technical, business, or analytics field.
