Logistics Coordinator - Warehousing & Distribution (Logistics)

Location: Chesapeake, Virginia, USA; onsite warehouse and office coordination

Salary: $18.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Process customer orders, work orders, receiving records, inventory movements, allocations, shipments, and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and generate operational, stock availability, and customer reports.
• Coordinate urgent shipments, trace deliveries, and communicate shipment updates and exceptions.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts and respond to inquiries about orders, inventory, invoices, and service issues.
• Prepare customer and vendor billing, verify invoices, audit domestic transportation invoices, and process credits or adjustments.
• Coordinate documentation and information between warehouse operations, transportation providers, vendors, customers, finance, and office teams.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively with internal departments, customers, vendors, and carriers.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is preferred.
