Jr. Systems/Network Administrator

hirify.global is recruiting for a national home builder seeking infrastructure administration and support.

What you will do

• Administer company servers and the services they provide.
• Monitor and support WAN, LAN, VPN, SD-WAN, routing, switching, and broadband connectivity.
• Review logs, alerts, availability, and performance data; investigate recurring issues.
• Install, test, document, and maintain approved server and infrastructure patches, updates, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, telecommunications, end-user, and connectivity issues while coordinating with vendors.
• Support account administration, access controls, security monitoring, backups, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.

Requirements

• Technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess issues independently.
• Experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting data networks.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, TCP and UDP ports, routing, firewalls, SD-WAN, Ethernet switching, VLANs, VPNs, and broadband connectivity.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365 or comparable identity, collaboration, and messaging platforms.
• Experience with Citrix, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services, or comparable remote desktop and virtual application environments.
• Experience with help desk support, business phone systems, structured data and voice cabling, technical documentation, and hardware and software inventories.
