Project Manager (Event Technical Production)

What you will do

• Prepare technical production and labour schedules, project scopes, execution plans, resource requirements, and event documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, sales, operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and venue partners to define equipment and technical solutions.
• Lead onsite event execution from load-in through the run of show and load-out, acting as the client contact and managing schedule, equipment, workforce, and inventory changes.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to technical event teams while ensuring compliance with technical, production, health, and safety standards.
• Support project budgeting, cost control, vendor payments, invoicing, and communication of onsite changes for billing.
• Complete post-event reporting, workforce-hour verification, equipment returns, event reviews, and project management SOP development.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of technical experience in the corporate staging or broadcast industry.
• Strong technical background, written and oral communication, client relationship, operational logistics, and budget control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex functions in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure.
• MS Office experience required; technical diagram experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 50% may be required.

Nice to have

• Project management experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Technical diagram knowledge or experience.
