Lead Project Manager (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid working with attendance at the Berlin campus two days per week

What you will do

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex cross-team technical projects within the Fintech Department.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, estimates, and resource allocation with stakeholders and engineering teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate collaboration across Engineering, Product, Compliance, and Operations.
• Use data, metrics, and KPIs to guide decisions and measure project outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of project management experience in e-commerce, fintech, or a similar industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks.
• Experience with project risk management and data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and data translation skills.
• Growth mindset and commitment to personal and team learning and development.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP.
