Associate Financial Advisor (Financial Services)

Location: Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada; on-site full-time

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial, investment, credit, and banking solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships.
• Develop relationships through networking, outreach, outbound calls, and community and banking centre events.
• Identify growth opportunities and refer clients to Imperial Service and Business Banking partners.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and support their use of digital banking tools.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Strong client service, relationship-building, critical thinking, goal-planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work on-site full-time at the specified location.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
