Associate Financial Advisor

Location: On-site full-time in Lethbridge, AB, at 701 4th Ave S

What you will do

• Meet with personal and small business clients to understand their priorities and recommend personalized financial, investment, credit, and banking solutions.
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients individually or as part of a team, with a focus on deepening client relationships.
• Build relationships through networking, marketing, outreach, and community and banking centre events.
• Identify growth and revenue opportunities and refer clients to Imperial Service, Business Banking, and other appropriate partners.
• Introduce clients to mobile banking applications and help them manage their banking needs through technology.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice and achieving sales results through advice-based conversations.
• Current accreditation and good standing in a Mutual Funds License through the Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds in Canada.
• Eligibility for CIRO-MFD licensing.
• Critical thinking, client engagement, relationship-building, networking, and business development skills.
• Legally eligible to work at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.

Nice to have

• Current accreditation and good standing in CFSA (Certificate of Financial Services Advice).
