Intern, Supply Chain & Operations (Manufacturing)

Location: Brecksville, Ohio, United States; on-site roles are included and at least one rotation must be onsite.

Salary: $20/hour

What you will do

• Support supply chain planning, inventory, production control, customer service, logistics, forecasting, and order management activities.
• Assist with supplier sourcing, quote requests, supplier analysis, procurement, and recommendations for competitive parts and services.
• Manage ERP master data in Infor LN during new product launches.
• Analyze commodity spend, costs, departmental metrics, forecasts, and supplier performance.
• Develop process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, spreadsheets, pivot tables, trend analyses, and management presentations.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Business Development, Operations, Finance, Sales, and other company locations.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS program in Engineering, Business, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with customers, suppliers, employees, and managers at all levels.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with standard business software, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to maintain a safe, orderly work environment and follow safety and workmanship requirements.
• Ability to lift office products and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
