Technician II, Sub-Assembly (Electro-Mechanical)

What you will do

• Build, assemble, install, and test complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies, fixtures, and equipment.
• Use hand and power tools to perform precision assembly and testing.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across subsystems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on design and process improvements.
• Redline assembly and test instructions.
• Support quality and manufacturing engineering teams with production issues and new product introduction initiatives.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing or assembly; an AA/AS in engineering, physics, or a related field is preferred.
• Hands-on experience assembling, testing, or troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems, instruments, or production equipment.
• Experience building wiring harnesses from schematics, wire lists, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience using hand tools and diagnostic instruments such as calipers, torque drivers, wire crimpers, and multimeters.
• Ability to perform precision work, remain seated or standing for extended periods, and lift or carry up to 30 lbs.
