Assembler/Tester Gen2 Meter (Electromechanical Devices)

Location: On-site at the Lexington Road facility in Billerica, Massachusetts, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $22–$23 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble and test medium- to low-complexity electromechanical devices using hand tools, adhesives, fixtures, and testing equipment.
• Read, follow, and explain detailed assembly and testing procedures.
• Complete quality forms, assembly records, and related paperwork accurately.
• Inspect devices, recognize defects, and follow quality-control standards.
• Communicate with supervisors and engineering staff regarding assembly and testing activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
• General mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to use small tools in tight spaces.
• Experience with hand tools, torque drivers, UV curing equipment, dispensers, press fixtures, computers, and device-testing systems.
• Ability to understand procedures, complete paperwork accurately, and recognize quality defects.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, climb, and perform repetitive physical tasks; ability to lift and carry 25–50 pounds as required.
