Flight Simulator Technician (FSTD)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; onsite technical work in an aviation training environment

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance on flight simulators and associated simulator systems.
• Diagnose and correct technical problems affecting simulator operation.
• Complete pre-flight and post-flight checks, basic visual alignments, and automatic Qualification Test Guide runs.
• Record maintenance activities in the maintenance management system and complete designated training.
• Support simulator refurbishment, hardware modifications, parts logistics, repair, and testing or validation.
• Provide customer service, maintain simulator housekeeping, and comply with quality and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree or four years of experience in electronics, avionics, or a related technical environment.
• One to three years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
• Ability to interpret system prints and schematics and operate oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, logic analyzers, and similar test equipment.
• Knowledge of analog and digital theory, computer systems, Microsoft Office, soldering, and circuit board repair.
• Fluent English required.
