PSAB ESS: Electrical Technician (Secret Clearance)

Location: Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia; onsite role supporting Prince Sultan Air Base

Provides engineering support services, asset management, real property support, and base operations support for the U.S. Air Force under the AFCAP V program.

What you will do

• Conduct condition assessments of electrical systems and verify infrastructure inventories.
• Identify and correct inventory errors and SMS BUILDER data quality issues.
• Provide technical input on electrical safety, fire detection, control systems, and maintenance planning.
• Support work prioritization and task coordination for Operations Flight shops.
• Participate in Sub-AMP working groups and support preventive and corrective maintenance planning.
• Contribute to quarterly data reviews and data-entry standards across maintenance shops.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with building electrical systems, electrical safety, fire detection systems, power distribution, control systems, and equipment maintenance or repair.
• Air Force minimum 5-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• AFIT courses WENG 200, WMGT 231, and WMGT 417.
• Strong documentation discipline and the ability to complete assessment production requirements.
• Ability to work safely in compliance with OSHA standards and applicable electrical codes.
• Secret clearance is required as indicated by the position title.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of arc flash safety concepts.
• Experience documenting electrical control systems troubleshooting.
• BUILDER assessor experience, including BRED workflows.
• Experience with airfield or area lighting and base infrastructure environments.
