Business Systems Analyst (Health Insurance)

Location: Remote work from Pennsylvania, United States; office-based position with a physical work site required.

What you will do

• Collaborate with customers, software engineers, architects, capability managers, and other stakeholders to capture needs and develop business solutions.
• Define business visions, detailed requirements, client-specific personalization, and user interface designs.
• Participate in Agile software development teams in roles such as business technical analyst, tester, capability manager, Scrum Master, or user interface designer.
• Plan and execute requirements testing, including test scenarios, documentation, and defect management.
• Analyze test results, customer impacts, business problems, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Communicate project status, lead requirements walkthroughs and sprint reviews, support vendor solutions, and maintain project documentation and approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in information systems or information technology.
• Experience with analytical skills, problem-solving, communication, report writing, and SQL.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Agile project management.
• Ability to protect confidential customer information and comply with HIPAA, information security, legal, and company requirements.

Nice to have

• 1–3 years of Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• 1–3 years of health insurance or healthcare industry experience.
• Certifications or knowledge in ITIL, TOGAF, Six Sigma, or PMP.
