Automotive Technician / Mechanic (Automotive)

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles using automotive knowledge, skills, and diagnostic equipment.
• Complete accurate and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Troubleshoot guest concerns with other technicians and the service department.
• Communicate repair concerns clearly and help meet deadlines and hourly goals.
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all vehicle makes and models.
• Ability to work with tools on elevated vehicles, in tight spaces, and while standing or walking for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift or move more than 100 pounds occasionally and drive vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Strong communication, professional appearance, computer skills, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• ASE certification or a plan to obtain certification.
