Data Engineer (Snowflake)

Location: Must be local to Lansing, Michigan, with four days of onsite work required; no remote option. The role may require U.S. citizenship or naturalized citizenship and ADP I or II clearance for certain system access duties.

hirify.global is hiring for its Data Engineering Team, focused on enterprise data integration, warehousing, and cloud data platforms.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and develop technical specifications, data engineering components, and tests.
• Create and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines in line with engineering standards.
• Build Informatica CDI-PC workflows for on-premises enterprise data warehouses and flat-file extracts.
• Develop PL/SQL-based workflows for data marts and enterprise reporting.
• Automate data movement from on-premises sources to Snowflake, Salesforce, and other cloud or application platforms using CDC and scripting.
• Participate in change control, configuration management, and a 24-hour platform support rotation.

Requirements

• At least three years of data engineering experience with strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking.
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and Snowflake database platforms.
• Experience with Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL, T-SQL, Informatica CDI-PC/PowerCenter, and Informatica IICS or IDMC.
• Understanding of enterprise data warehouse loading, process automation, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be local to Lansing, Michigan, work onsite four days per week, and meet U.S. citizenship requirements for applicable duties.

• Experience creating and maintaining data solutions in Snowflake.
