Global Lead, Scientific Platforms & Engagement Strategy (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Cambridge, Massachusetts or Morristown, New Jersey; U.S. and Puerto Rico residents only. Approximately 20–25% travel is required.

Salary: $206,250–$297,916.66 per year.

What you will do

• Define the global roadmap for scientific platforms and redesign scientific exchange as personalized, immersive, and omnichannel experiences.
• Lead the incubation of GenAI content platforms, immersive medical education environments, AR/VR solutions, and external LLM platforms.
• Scout technologies, design use cases, manage proof-of-concept initiatives, and assess readiness for global scale-up.
• Build platform architectures, KPI frameworks, adoption models, and impact measurement approaches.
• Partner with Medical GBUs, Digital, GTMC, Scientific Communications, and Field Excellence on platform integration and operational handoff.
• Establish governance for AI-generated medical content, immersive technologies, MLR review, ethics, and pharmaceutical communications compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Medical Education, Digital Health, or related pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare environments.
• Experience with AI-powered content platforms, immersive medical education technologies, omnichannel medical communications, or digital health innovation.
• Proven record leading complex, multi-stakeholder platform or product innovation initiatives from concept through scale.
• Strong understanding of GenAI content creation, AR/VR applications, platform design, and scientific communication.
• Ability to influence senior Medical, Digital, and Commercial stakeholders and translate scientific concepts into technical and business requirements.
• Advanced scientific degree such as MD, PhD, PharmD, or a master’s degree in life sciences or a related field is preferred.
