Procurement Lead

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work setup with a central Madrid office

What you will do

• Own the global Travel & Expenses and Communication procurement categories, including sourcing, negotiation, supplier management, strategy, and policy.
• Design and implement a Vendor Risk Management program covering more than 9,000 vendors.
• Build risk assessment frameworks, due diligence processes, monitoring, and global governance.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into procurement and risk strategies.
• Evaluate and negotiate with local, regional, and global suppliers while balancing cost, quality, and risk.
• Lead and develop a team, manage priorities, coach for growth, and ensure execution against goals.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in procurement, category management, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing and developing a team.
• Experience with Travel & Expense procurement is highly valued.
• Experience designing or running vendor risk management, compliance, or due diligence programs is highly valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• C1-level English and Spanish, written and spoken, required at negotiation level.
