Category Manager EAME Packaging (Procurement/Packaging): Developing and executing regional packaging sourcing strategies for an approximately €120 million portfolio with an accent on cost optimization, supply resilience, sustainability, and supplier innovation. Focus on optimizing specifications and supplier bases, negotiating commercial agreements, and mitigating market and supply continuity risks across Europe.
Location: Hybrid role based in Asturias, Spain; Budapest, Hungary; or another office location within Europe

What you will do
- Develop and execute regional packaging category strategies across EAME.
- Lead sourcing initiatives that deliver savings, productivity, compliance, working capital, and spend optimization.
- Use spend analysis, market intelligence, supplier evaluation, and supply-base diversification to guide sourcing decisions.
- Build strategic supplier relationships supporting innovation, sustainability, quality, and long-term category priorities.
- Negotiate supplier agreements and commercial terms while improving supplier performance.
- Partner with Procurement, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders to strengthen resilience and create measurable value.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
- 5+ years of experience in packaging procurement or a related category.
- Expertise in category management, procurement practices, cost modeling, financial analysis, and value-creation methodologies.
- Strong negotiation, project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required; experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, is expected.

- Strong packaging market knowledge and established supplier networks.
- CPSM, SPSM, or a related procurement or supply chain certification.
