What you will do

• Drive design ownership and integrity across Vessel Sealing and Dissection product lines, including LigaSure and Sonicision.
• Research, plan, design, verify, validate, and develop mechanical and electromechanical products and systems.
• Recommend technology and process improvements related to safety, performance, efficiency, and cost.
• Support change management and improve existing processes for new and mature products.
• Transfer products and designs from R&D to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with at least 5 years, or a PhD with at least 3 years.
• Expertise in mechanical and/or electromechanical product design and development.
• Ability to manage complex projects, define deliverables, analyze problems, and implement solutions with limited oversight.
• Experience providing guidance, coaching, training, or leadership to other professionals.
• Work authorization in the United States is required; sponsorship is offered for Principal-level roles and above.
