Senior Software Engineer II, Full-Stack

Salary: $156,364–$250,909 per year in base pay for candidates based in the United States; expected OTE is $172,000–$276,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and evolve Cloud Data Ingestion systems that connect customer cloud warehouses with the hirify.global platform.
• Develop Data Transformation capabilities for customizing data flows from external sources.
• Own features end to end, including scalable backend systems and frontend experiences.
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
• Design systems that process high volumes of data and traffic while improving customer integration success.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience focused on scalable web applications.
• Strong backend development experience with the ability to deliver frontend features.
• Experience influencing architecture and technical strategy.
• Strong knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Self-directed approach, strong communication and organizational skills, and experience working in an agile environment.
• Willingness to learn the technologies required to meet customer needs.

Nice to have

• Experience building software at scale with high data and traffic volumes.
• Experience with automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ETL using Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Python, Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Knowledge of modern data warehousing, business intelligence, and analytics.
• Experience with agile processes and incremental delivery of high-quality software.
