Senior Software Engineer II, Full-Stack

Location: New York City, United States

Salary: $156,364–$250,909 per year in base pay for candidates based in the United States; OTE of $172,000–$276,000 including bonus or commission.

What you will do

• Build and improve Cloud Data Ingestion systems that connect customer cloud warehouses with the hirify.global platform.
• Develop Data Transformation capabilities for customizing data flows from external sources.
• Own features end to end, including primarily backend systems and supporting frontend experiences.
• Design scalable systems that process high volumes of data and traffic.
• Drive architectural decisions and contribute to technical strategy.
• Collaborate in an agile environment to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience focused on scalable web applications.
• Experience leading technical decisions and shaping architecture or technical strategy.
• Strong knowledge of software design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Self-directed approach with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Previous experience working in an agile team environment.
• Willingness to learn the technologies needed to solve customer problems.

Nice to have

• Experience building software at scale and handling high data or traffic volumes.
• Experience with automated data pipelines, asynchronous processing, or ETL using Kafka, Airflow, Sidekiq, SQS, or RabbitMQ.
• Professional experience with Python/Django, React, Ruby on Rails, Snowflake, microservices, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with modern data warehousing, BI, and analytics.
• Experience with agile processes and incremental delivery of high-quality software.
