Technical Writer (Japanese / English)

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and maintain project documentation for the assessment and modernization of a financial software solution.
• Translate technical documents between English and Japanese.
• Provide real-time interpretation during video conferences, sprint reviews, and technical meetings.
• Facilitate communication between Japanese client stakeholders and CEE-based development teams.
• Help business analysts and project managers interpret software requirements and communicate team feedback.
• Identify and clarify language-related misunderstandings involving scope, intent, and technical details.

Requirements

• Written and spoken Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N1 or N2 is required. Official certification is not mandatory.
• Written and spoken English at B2 level or higher is required.
• Technical writing and real-time translation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration between Japan- and CEE-based teams.
