Technical Writer (AI)

What you will do

• Own documentation for product features from code and product research through writing, verification, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
• Prepare documentation for daily feature releases and larger product launches.
• Write for non-technical builders, developers, and AI agents using the same documentation.
• Use documentation data, support feedback, and assistant performance to decide what to improve next.
• Identify confusing labels, broken steps, and product usability issues while testing features end to end.
• Develop an automated check to replace a manual documentation quality process.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience documenting software products.
• Experience using AI for research, drafting, and quality checks, with the ability to identify inaccurate output.
• Hands-on experience testing documented features and reviewing source material.
• Comfort with docs-as-code workflows using Git, Markdown, and pull requests.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and product managers, ask specific questions, and raise product usability issues early.
• Professional English is required for the application and day-to-day communication.

Nice to have

• Experience shipping documentation weekly at a startup or scale-up.
• Experience writing for AI readers or interest in documentation for AI agents.
• UX writing or content design experience.
• Ability to read code well enough to verify feature behavior; writing code is not required.
