Technology Solutions Consultant

Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at client and company offices. Travel to global offices and client sites is required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead teams designing and implementing technology solutions for client business challenges.
• Own solution architecture, technical deliverables, project quality, and scalable implementation.
• Lead one or more projects across planning, delivery, testing, operations, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with senior leaders on project planning, staffing, people development, and business development activities.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and lead presentations, design discussions, and status updates.
• Collaborate with architects, validation, testing, and other specialist teams while mentoring delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, MIS, IT, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of relevant consulting-industry experience delivering medium- to large-scale technology solutions.
• Strong experience leading one or more technology delivery projects.
• Extensive experience with big data and cloud technologies.
• Fluency in English and Japanese is required.
• Strong communication, client-facing, supervisory, coaching, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing virtual global teams.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting interactions between databases, operating systems, and applications.
• Willingness to travel to other global offices and client locations.
