Final Quality Control Inspector I (Medical Devices)

Location: Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Hourly pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

What you will do

• Perform in-process and final inspections of medical device product lines for compliance with specifications, inspection procedures, and engineering drawings.
• Conduct visual inspections and test components and assemblies during production.
• Verify the calibration status of critical equipment and instrumentation.
• Record quality testing information in Device History Records and populate inspection metrics.
• Initiate Discrepant Material Reports for nonconforming material and prepare retain samples for storage.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and follow GMP and safety requirements while working effectively in a team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in a related position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
• Proficiency with basic dimensional measuring tools and computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and read specifications, procedures, engineering drawings, and basic blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
