Compliance Officer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Develop and implement the Bank’s Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP).
• Conduct monthly controls testing and prepare detailed reports with suggested actions.
• Support the Senior Compliance Manager with business-wide thematic reviews.
• Assist in collecting data for regulatory reporting requirements.
• Provide regulatory and compliance advice to key stakeholders across the bank.
• Manage day-to-day compliance enquiries and support the Financial Crime team.

Requirements

• Experience in Compliance Monitoring, Thematic Reviews, and Regulatory Reporting.
• Strong understanding of the UK’s regulatory landscape, ideally within commercial or retail banking.
• Competent technical and systems skills to support second line of defence operations.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders and deputise for the Senior Compliance Manager.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity from the London office.

Nice to have

• Industry-recognised qualifications (e.g., ICA).
• Experience working within Payments Regulations.
