Attorney (Insurance Litigation)

Location: Hybrid role with required office time at 500 Mamaroneck Avenue, Harrison, New York. Travel to job-related activities and irregular hours may be required.

Salary: $146,875–$180,000 per year, plus potential incentive pay of up to 24% of base salary.

What you will do

• Handle civil litigation and other legal assignments under Law Department guidelines.
• Own files and manage cases throughout the litigation process.
• Develop trial strategies and case plans.
• Prepare and summarize reports for legal proceedings.
• Attend trials, mediations, depositions, and hearings.
• Meet with clients and collaborate with attorneys and support staff.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, medical malpractice, personal injury, or workers’ compensation.
• Knowledge of local and state discovery rules, trial procedures, and applicable substantive law.
• Experience with trials, mediations, depositions, and file ownership.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Active New York law license and membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the U.S. immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
