What you will do
- Serve on the Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, and Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee.
- Contribute to the investment firm’s strategy, governance framework, growth plans, and client outcomes.
- Lead the Finance Function, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, cost management, and financial planning.
- Oversee financial, prudential, statutory, and regulatory reporting, including relationships with auditors, regulators, tax advisers, and Group Finance.
- Maintain oversight of capital adequacy, liquidity, prudential risk, ICAAP, stress testing, recovery planning, and the Wind-Down Plan.
- Oversee operational resilience, outsourcing, technology initiatives, internal controls, and strategic change.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a senior finance or finance director role.
- Extensive regulatory finance experience in a MiFID investment firm, preferably with PCF-1 and PCF-11 responsibilities.
- Previous PCF-11 approval with the Central Bank of Ireland or another EU regulator, with a history of meeting Fitness and Probity Standards.
- Recognised accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience with tax compliance, IFRS, stakeholder management, and financial services leadership.
- Professional Certificate in Stockbroking or equivalent investment firm knowledge.
