Senior Software Engineer (Observability, Managed Inputs)

Location: Greece

Salary: €61,100–€96,600 EUR per year base salary, with no variable compensation component.

What you will do

• Design, implement, deploy, and maintain scalable backend ingestion features for Managed Inputs and Managed Integrations across three major cloud providers.
• Build and operate telemetry pipelines that collect data from hirify.global Agents, agentless setups, OpenTelemetry collectors, and cloud sources.
• Own projects and features from concept through delivery.
• Provide engineering support for escalated customer cases on a rotation basis.
• Monitor alerts, build SLIs and SLOs, and maintain service stability and safe deployment mechanisms.
• Review pull requests, mentor colleagues, and contribute to a collaborative distributed team.

Requirements

• Intermediate to expert Go skills with strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause-analysis abilities.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, and Kafka.
• Intermediate experience with observability, including tracing, metrics, logs, and profiling.
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed-system design trade-offs.
• Experience with or interest in OpenTelemetry, plus the ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
• Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted development tools to develop features, debug systems, and optimize codebases.

Nice to have

• Experience designing highly scalable, highly available services that ingest terabytes of data per day.
• Experience as an operational responder or incident commander.
• Experience with hirify.globalsearch and/or Kibana.
• Open-source development or contributions to community projects.
• Experience working in fully remote teams.
