Wallet - Backend Software Engineer (.NET)

What you will do

• Design and develop distributed backend services using C#, .NET, and event-driven architecture.
• Build scalable, maintainable solutions with product and commercial teams.
• Optimize microservices for performance, reliability, and observability.
• Advance containerization and cloud migration using Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS.
• Participate in architecture discussions, write tested code, conduct code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
• Resolve incidents, participate in the on-call rotation, and share domain expertise.

Requirements

• Strong experience with C# and modern .NET versions after .NET Core.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Web APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or Couchbase, including indexing and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and unit, integration, and performance testing.
• Understanding of observability, CI/CD, domain-driven design, event sourcing, or actor-based systems.
• Senior engineers should be able to lead architectural decisions and identify improvement opportunities.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Orleans, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, or Splunk.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, trunk-based development, and progressive delivery.
• Experience with k6 or similar load-testing tools.
