Account Supervisor (College Athletics)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

Horizon Sports and Experiences provides sports and experiential marketing services, including brand strategy, IP creation and monetization, media rights, sponsorship, sales, and experiential activation.

What you will do

• Lead the account team in managing college athletics client portfolios and integrated marketing campaigns.
• Develop and execute sponsorship activations, consumer promotions, social and digital campaigns, experiential events, and local and national market deliverables.
• Build client briefs, translate business objectives and customer insights into marketing strategies, and develop partnership concepts.
• Manage relationships with clients, rights holders, vendors, partner agencies, and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee production timelines, campaign quality control, agreements, billing, payments, and partnership operations.
• Support new business efforts and manage the professional development of direct reports.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with college sports, including NIL, for a brand, team, college, or marketing organization.
• At least 5 years of advertising or marketing experience at an agency or brand.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team and multiple projects or partnerships simultaneously.
• Experience with sponsorship strategy, activation concepts, sponsorship measurement, and client-facing research.
• Strong writing, communication, presentation, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, or travel for client programs and events; proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience with digital marketing, website design and development, or traditional marketing.
• Experience presenting to C-Suite-level clients.
• Experience with sponsorship compliance and measurement analysis.
