Fill Tech (Manufacturing)

Location: Dalton, Georgia, United States. Onsite, first shift from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

What you will do

• Operate at least one machine or value stream while following all equipment and process safety requirements.
• Complete material barrel changeovers within the standard five-minute process, including removal, installation, hookup, approved run-off, and disposition.
• Operate forklifts, pallet movers, barrel carts, drum movers, hand tools, and other material-handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot pumps and machine operating problems, then disassemble, clean, correct, and reassemble equipment.
• Use quality and measurement tools to adjust processes and meet quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area and complete required production and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Dalton, Georgia, United States.
• Must read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
• Basic math comprehension and the ability to use hand-operated and handheld power tools.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds continuously, stand and squat for extended periods, use stairs or platforms, and move heavy barrels.
• Ability to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Safety glasses and steel-toed shoes or boots are required at all times; gloves and a respirator may be required as needed.
