Sr. Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

Salary: $124,900–$210,512 USD annually for US-based employees; compensation for other locations varies.

What you will do

• Design, develop, deploy, and scale machine learning and AI solutions for identity security challenges.
• Build classical ML capabilities such as semantic search, behavioral modeling, embeddings, anomaly detection, classification, and ranking.
• Develop agentic AI applications using foundation models, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks.
• Translate research and prototypes into production-ready systems while improving model quality, accuracy, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement ML engineering, testing, observability, MLOps, model lifecycle management, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Partner with product, platform, analytics, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact AI capabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, AI, or a related technical field.
• Deep expertise building and deploying production machine learning systems.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, foundation models, or related technologies.
• Strong Python programming skills and proficiency with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of data modeling, feature engineering, statistical analysis, experimentation, model evaluation, MLOps, monitoring, retraining, and CI/CD.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, identity, or enterprise SaaS.
• Expertise in NLP, behavioral modeling, time series, graph ML, search, or recommendation systems.
• Experience designing AI agents, autonomous systems, and cloud-native ML applications.
• Experience delivering measurable business impact through AI and machine learning.
