Platforms Lead Subject Matter Expert (Child Safety)

What you will do

• Lead subject matter expertise for the Child Safety vertical within the Platforms Team and its sub-teams.
• Research and analyze online harms, platform risks, threat actor behavior, and emerging digital risks.
• Translate complex research into actionable intelligence and executive-level insights for global, multidisciplinary clients.
• Advise clients and contribute to key discussions on online safety and regulatory developments.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Engineering, and Intelligence Analysts to improve intelligence deliverables.
• Mentor analytical talent and manage complex research projects with multiple stakeholders and strict deadlines.

Requirements

• Strong research background in academia, law enforcement, government or defense intelligence, or technology Trust & Safety.
• Deep understanding of social media platform risks, digital threats, threat actor behavior, and global online safety regulations.
• Proven ability to convert academic or complex technical research into practical intelligence insights.
• Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder research projects with strict delivery timelines.
• Advanced knowledge of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Social Media Intelligence (SOCMINT) tools, techniques, and ethics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to external multidisciplinary stakeholders.
